Nick Jonas will perform at the Hilton@Play concert, which will take place on April 22nd in Dallas (TX). The concert series’ first show took place in New York last month, and it featured a performance by Paramore. The @Play concerts are a part of a new venture from Hilton Worldwide Hospitality. “We created the Hilton@Play concerts to reward our most loyal guests, to welcome the artists’ most passionate fans. Most importantly, to make sure the experience is undeniably fun,” executive vice president of commercial services for Hilton Worldwide, Jeff Diskin, said. He added, “Nick Jonas will be joining our list of select A-list performers, set to deliver playful, unforgettable experiences across the globe.” Hilton and Live Nation have partnered together for the @Play concerts. They will be scheduling more concerts throughout various Hilton locations all over the world.
Nick Jonas is most known as a member of the Jonas Brothers, but the pop singer has made a name for himself as a solo artist. His self-titled album was dropped in November of last year. The project reached Number 6 on the Billboard 200, and it also impacted the album charts in Canada (Number 13), Mexico (Number 18), New Zealand (Number 35), Australia (Number 40), and Belgium (Number 192). Jonas has dropped two singles from the album including “Chains” and “Jealous.” The lead single “Chains” peaked at Number 20 on the Billboard Hot 100, and Number 11 on the Mainstream Top 40 chart. “Chains” became the pop singer’s highest charting single so far, by reaching the Number 7 position on the Billboard Hot 100. The hit single is close to reaching double-platinum certification, after selling over 1.6 million copies to date.
Although Jonas will not be joining Iggy Azalea on her Great Escape tour, the pop singer plans on embarking on a solo tour this summer. To date, Jonas has a performance scheduled in Carson, California on May 9th, and a date on June 20th in Bridgeview, Illinois. The pop singer was also recently named as a performer for the Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM) on April 19th. The other performers at the awards show include Christina Aguilera, Martina McBride, Lady Antebellum, Alan Jackson, Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, and more.
