McDonald’s imLovinIt24 campaign officially launches today. The campaign celebrates 24 moments of joy, in 24 hours, with 24 people around the world. The event will feature surprise performances in different regions of the world. Some of the artists involved in the imLovinIt24 event include Ne-Yo and Jessie J. Ne-Yo will perform a free concert for fans in Los Angeles today at the Avalon Hollywood.
The singer-songwriter will perform “Every Day With Love,” which is a song he wrote for this special event. “Every Day With Love” will premiere on Twitter today at 11:00 am (Central standard time). Fans cans RSVP to watch Ne-Yo perform on the Flavorus website. “This campaign is about something positive as opposed to all the negativity that’s going on in the world right now,” Ne-Yo stated. He continued, “It’s about giving people another reason to smile and being a super positive person.”
While Ne-Yo will be performing in Los Angeles, Jessie J will surprise fans with a special concert in London. The imLovinIt24 campaign launched in Australia and the Philippines yesterday. McDonald’s customers received free cups of McCafe coffee and a free breakfast. Those customers who ordered Big Macs were treated with music when they opened their sandwich container (sound chips were inserted inside each container).
It was just announced yesterday that Jessie J will host the MTV Movie Awards live pre-show on April 12th. The pop singer and Josh Horowitz will interview celebrities on the awards show’s red carpet. During the live broadcast, fans will get an exclusive preview of the movie Paper Towns. Paper Towns stars Cara Delevingne, Nat Wolff, and Halston Sage. The Best Hero award, voted on by the fans, will be given out during the pre-show, too.
The Movie Awards’ pre-show will air at 7:30 pm (Eastern standard time), and the 2015 MTV Movie Awards will start at 8:00 pm ET. Comedian Amy Schumer (Trainwreck) will host the awards show this year, which will be held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles (CA). MTV News revealed that the MTV Movie Awards Takeover Week will begin on April 6th, and it will conclude on the 10th. Takeover Week will feature several celebrities promoting their upcoming films. Some of those actors include Melissa McCarthy, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and Jason Statham.
