We already brought you part one of our list of 15 things you probably did not know about Lykke Li, and now we’re back with part two! Check out eight more fascinating facts about the singer and musician that you definitely (probably) did not know below. You might be surprised by what you find out!
Number Eight: She Prefers Argentina to Sweden. In an interview, Li revealed that she would rather be in Argentina drinking red wine than continue to live in Sweden. She even said that she doesn’t really feel Swedish.
Number Seven: She Loves The Godfather. Though Li has said that she can appreciate many an art house film, she also said that she also appreciates films that are straight-up good, like The Godfather: Part II.
Number Six: She Experimented With Scientology. Well, sort of. Li revealed that once when she was on tour, she went to a “crazy Scientologist chiropractor.” Unsurprisingly, she said that the experienced was a huge mistake.
Number Five: She Wants to Be Fat and Happy. Li says that she wants to be like Benjamin Button as she ages, but not quite in the way you think. She said, “I’m just going to grow younger. I will probably be happy, fat, with kids and looking back and thinking, I was such a angry young woman.”
Number Four: She Only Wears Black. Li says that she wears black because it is the color that most appropriately suits her music. She has also said she wears the color because it makes her feel comfortable.
Number Three: She Is Expecting. That’s right! Li is pregnant and is due in early 2016. She says that she has begun using all natural products, and she stays in more.
Number Two: She Uses Food to Heal. In an interview with Vogue, Li revealed that she sees food as a tool to heal. She creates “crazy oatmeal” and uses hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, and walnuts to up hear health game. She also eats a lot of kale, kimchi, and avocados. However, she also says that she goes through BLT phases as well, so she’s not all health foodie.
Number One: She Meditates. As part of her pregnancy, Li began to meditate for 20 minutes every day. She says that she tries to meditate at 4 p.m. She also says that she occasionally does yoga.
