We already brought you part one of our list of 15 things you probably did not know about Luke Bryan, and now we’re back with part two! Check out eight more fascinating facts about the singer and musician that you definitely (probably) did not know below. You might be surprised by what you find out!

Number Eight: He Sometimes Hyperventilates. Bryan has admitted that he occasionally hyperventilates before his performances. Considering how many people he performs in front of (and all that booty-shaking he does), we’re not that surprised!

Number Seven: He and His Wife Were College Sweethearts. Bryan and his wife, Caroline Boyer, met in college, and the rest is history. They have two beautiful children together. They also began raising his sister’s child together after his sister passed away.

Number Six: He Named His Dog After Whiskey. Bryan admitted in an interview with Us Magazine that his dog his named after Pappy Van Winkle, which is one of the world’s best and rarest whiskeys.

Number Five: He Waited Tables…for Three Days. Bryan says that when he moved to Nashville, he got a job waiting tables. However, he was only waiting tables for three days before he got more work as a musician!

Number Four: He Is Very Philanthropic. Bryan supports many charities and causes. Some charities Bryan supports include the City of Hope and the Red Cross. He also supports the Children Disaster Relief and Human Rights.

Number Three: He Has Many Influences. Bryan has said that he is influenced by Alan Jackson, George Strait, and Merle Haggard. However, he has also said that he grew up listening to the Beastie Boys and Run-D.M.C.

Number Two: He Loves Sushi. Bryan has said that his favorite kind of sushi is yellowtail sashimi with jalapeno. He also has a favorite pre-show snack: Lay’s plain potato chips. His guilty pleasure is movie popcorn.

Number One: He Went to His First Concert When He Was Seven Years Old. The very first concert that Bryan attended was to see Jerry Lee Lewis and T.G. Sheppard. Even when he was young, he had good taste!
