Latenite Automatic’s music video for “Ghost Love” is comprised of unique visual elements that are appropriate for the track title and the music that accompanies it. The track immediately begins with fast rhythmic drumming, loud synths and guitar riffs. Singer Jay Brown’s vocals are sinister and seductive. He is seen wandering a cemetery while clips of an eager woman are shown on the screen at random. The man has his eyes painted either black or white, depending on the setting. The shaky effect throughout the music video is vital as it enhances the electronic rock music playing in the background. The music gives off a dark, grungy and punk feel. It is reminiscent of Nine Inch Nails, Muse, and Placebo. “Ghost Love” sort of sounds like a vampire’s anthem. Everything about it is aggressively sexy and one cannot stop listening to it. Keep an eye out for this electronic, punk and rock project this year.
