Lady Gaga just confirmed on social media that she just finished a recording session with Paul McCartney. Gaga posted a picture featuring herself, along with McCartney and other musicians. The caption on the bottom of the photo reads, “Had a beautiful session with Sir Paul McCartney and friends. Working on one of his many secret projects! Killer musicians, vibe, and lots of laughs.” The pop singer did not reveal any information regarding the recent collaboration. Fans will have to wait and see what will become of this “secret” project. Paul McCartney has been really busy lately. He recently teamed up with Kanye West and Rihanna on her “FourFiveSeconds” record. The trio will perform the song at this year’s Grammy Awards. Lady Gaga will also be a performer at the 57th Grammy Awards show.
Lady Gaga also announced she is working with producer RedOne again. The singer also announced the collaboration on social media a few weeks ago. RedOne and Gaga worked together on three of her albums including The Fame, The Fame Monster, and Born This Way. The duo’s most successful collaborative effort was the single “Poker Face.” The song managed to sell over thirteen million copies.
The pop singer released a project with the legendary Tony Bennett in 2014. Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett’s Cheek to Cheek album was a surprise success last year. The unexpected duo sold 500,000 units of their album. Bennett spoke very highly of the pop singer referring to her as a “real jazz singer” with a really powerful voice. Gaga said she developed a great friendship with the 88 year old singer, and their chemistry helped them create timeless music. The Cheek to Cheek Tour will resume on Grammy night when they perform a post-Grammy show at the Wiltern in Los Angeles. The Cheek to Cheek Tour will conclude on July 25th.
