Katana Da Don – Grim

This is not your typical music video- or song for that matter. What begins with a soothing voice-over of an old-fashioned sounding news anchor with a traditionally handsome man singing the classic folk song, “Oh Shenandoah,” quickly turns into a gory sight.

As you continue listening to the news anchor, he reveals, “It has been established that persons who have recently died have been returning to life and committing acts of murder.” The man singing “Oh Shenandoah” abruptly stops his singing and audience members turn on each other, sucking each others’ blood and stabbing each other. This is Katana Da Don‘s cue to begin her rage-filled song “Grim” and the violence and bloodshed continue throughout the rest of the video. Enjoy!

Written and Produced by Katana Da Don
