Kat Quinn – Going Home

Kat Quinn just released a new music video for her song, “Going Home,” an acoustic lullaby that will please everyone. Kat Quinn has a gift, and she has received positive interest from such entertainment industry vets as Peter Calo and Adam Rhodes. Quinn first found her musical voice after having her heart broken. She describes her first songwriting experience as, just feeling upset one day, reaching for her guitar, and “a song fell out.” Quinn has traveled extensively in South America, an experience which also influenced her sweet, lyrical, indie-pop sound. While sadness might have lit the match, Quinn’s naturally sparkling personality fires up her music. She recently participated in Jimmy Fallon’s contest, the “Battle of the Instant Songwriters.” She performed an original song live on late night television, and has since been enjoying some time in the spotlight. She moved to New York from Massachusetts in 2011 and recorded her first album shortly thereafter. Her songs have been featured in a variety of commercials, and she is currently working on a new EP. Here at FDRMX, we think this girl just might make it. We will keep an eye out to see what happens.

Performed and filmed by Kat Quinn.
