TIME magazine has revealed its list of 100 Most Influential People. Kanye WestTaylor Swift, Tim McGraw, Lee Daniels, Kim Kardashian, Kevin Hart, Bradley Cooper, and Reese Witherspoon are some of the people who have been honored this year. “In our annual TIME 100 issue, we tell 100 stories of individual influence. But taken together, these stories are an anthem to interaction, the convergence that occurs when a good idea goes viral,” TIME’s editor Nancy Gibbs stated. Gibbs added, “Every year we hope the TIME 100 will introduce you to influential people you might not have met before and encourage you to find out more about them.” President Barack Obama, Pope Francis, and Hillary Clinton were also honored on the TIME 100 list.

The magazine issue also features guest contributors TIME selected to write about this year’s honorees. Some of the writer and honoree pairings include Elon Musk (SpaceX founder) on Kanye West, Mariska Hargitay (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit) on Taylor Swift, Oprah Winfrey on Lee Daniels (Empire), Martha Stewart on Kim Kardashian, Oliver Platt on Bradley Cooper, Chris Rock on Kevin Hart, Jon Meacham on Tim McGraw, and Mindy Kaling (The Mindy Project) on Reese Witherspoon. Swift was also a contributing writer, and she wrote an essay about Ina Garten (Barefoot Contessa).

“Kanye West would be the first person to tell you he belongs on this list. Kanye believes in himself and his incredible tenacity. He fought for his place in cultural pantheon with a purpose,” an excerpt from Elon Musk’s West essay reads. Mariska Hargitay wrote that Swift has “megawatt talent, an extraordinary spirit, an impossibly charming blend of impishness, poise and radiance to spare.” The actress also stated that Swift writing her own songs, makes her music personal and “impossible to resist.”

TIME has unveiled five different magazine covers for the 100 Most Influential People issue. Those who were chosen to cover the magazine include Kanye West, Bradley Cooper (actor), Ruth Bader Ginsburg (Supreme Court Justice), Misty Copeland (ballet dancer), and Jorge Ramos (news anchor). The complete TIME 100 list can be viewed on the magazine’s website. The magazine issue will hit newsstands on April 17th.
