Jessica Rowboat is a passionate, talented and charismatic singer and performer with a very distinctive voice and a very unique attitude. A video of her performing, Come On! Let’s Boogey to the El Dance, originally made famous by Sufjan Stevens, was released on MusicSnake’s channel as a part of MusicSnake live sessions. Armed with a ukulele and her stunning voice, Jessica set out to cover the song in a very distinctive way, going for a very emotional, sparse and tuneful arrangement.

The song is naturally very introspective, yet catchy, and Jessica does a great when it comes to portraying the tune’s elegant aesthetics. Her cover version stands out for Jessica’s ability to truly own the stage and make the song hers with lots of class and sophistication, but also with a smile on her face when singing these beautiful lines.
