Inventions – Springworlds

Animator and motion designer Dan W Jacobs has created a wonderful visual masterpiece for Inventions’ track entitled “Springworlds.” The music video beautifully portrays a drawn individual who seeks a bright and colorful floating object. The weather changes throughout, as well as the time of day. It is night and it is day; there is thunder and there is rain. The rain becomes heavy, and it floods the land, washing away the body of the protagonist. The visuals are breathtaking, and the track is soothing to the ears. Both mediums tie perfectly together. There is so much to interpret from Jacobs’ animation; we’ll leave it up to the viewers’ imagination. “Springworlds” is an ambient and mellow track from Inventions’ new album entitled Maze of Woods, which is the follow-up to their self-titled debut. Inventions is a musical collaboration between Mark T. Smith (Explosions In The Sky) and Matthew Cooper (Eluvium). Maze of Woods is now available on iTunes.
