Number Ten: Bruce Lee. Lee has raked in $9 million since he met his tragic demise. Lee died of cerebral edema in 1973, when he was just 32 years old. However, since his death Lee has remained a relevant and popular figure in the martial arts community, and he was even featured in an advertisement for Mazda in 2014.

Number Nine: Theodor Geisel. Tied with Lee on our list is Theodor Geisel, who has earned $9 million since his death. Geisel died in 1991 at the age of 87, but the renowned writer is a still a best-selling author all over the world. Theodor Geisel is responsible for bringing us Dr. Seuss.

Number Eight: Albert Einstein. Einstein died in 1955, and since then he has earned a hefty $11 million. Einstein’s face is immediately recognizable, and he has become a universal symbol for intelligence. Because of all the products featuring Einstein’s name and likeness, he continues to make a lot of money.

Number Seven: John Lennon. Lennon was a member of one of the world’s most iconic bands – The Beatles. Lennon was murdered when he was just 40 years old in 1980, and thanks to his sales on iTunes (both as a solo artist and a member of The Beatles), he has earned $12 million since his death. He has also earned money for a Beatles-themed Cirque du Soleil show.
