Next Friday marks the beginning of the 11th annual Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival, and hip-hop fans all across the tri-state area are eager for the chance to see their favorite hip-hop artists live in concert. The Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival is New York City’s largest hip-hop event, which attracts over 20,000 fans each year. In the past, the headliners have included Raekwon the Chef and Pusha T who have brought out guests such as Jay-Z, Kanye West, J. Cole, and Mac Miller. This year’s headliner is rapper Common, who many fans are extremely excited to see. Many are also wondering if he is going to bring out any special guests for his performance under the Brooklyn Bridge, but only time will tell. Other performers set to take the stage at the festival this year include Mobb Deep, Lion Babe, Skyzoo, and DJ Rob Swift. However, for now, here are some great moments from the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival in the past.
