Too Faced: 7 Facts You Never Knew About The Cosmetics Line

If you don’t know or haven’t heard of Too Faced then you are missing out. This unique cosmetics line is fun, playful, and gives you everything you need to enhance your beautiful face. Here are seven interesting facts you never knew about the famous cosmetics line.

Number Seven: Too Faced Has Fun With Their Product Names

For those unfamiliar with the brand, one of the many things to look forward to and enjoy is getting to know the product names. For instance, one of my favorites is the Better Than Sex mascara. Could the name get any better? Doubtful. And that’s just one example of the creativity and hilarious naming prowess of the brand.

Number Six: The Brand Created The World’s First Glitter Eye Shadow

Love glitter eye shadow? Well, you have Too Faced to thank for that. Jerrod Blandino, one of the creators, decided to add some glitter to a black eye shadow they were working on and voila! The first glitter eye shadow was created.

Number Five: The Company’s Founders Are Married And Very Much In Love

Jerrod Blandino and Jeremy Johnson created the company back in 1998. The adorable twosome is also married and so much in love it hurts. Peep their Insta’s for a look at their fairytale life.

Number Four: The Company’s Mascot Is The Founder’s Chihuahua, Clover

The adorable teeny-tiny Chihuahua, Clover, is the brand’s official mascot and you can find numerous pictures of the little guy plastered all over the pair’s Instagram pages. Talk about an adorable pup!

Number Three: The Brand Has 8 Bronzers But For An Important Reason

Eight bronzers might sound like a lot, but it’s because Blandino’s sister was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma cancer. After she was diagnosed, he worked hard to create an entire line of faux bronzers to give every woman a chance at that sun-kissed glow without the risk of cancer.

Number Two: The Company Is Pro-Animal Rights

The founders avoid harming animals at all costs. For their highly desired Teddy Bear Hair Brushes, the pair consulted numerous experts and worked for years to make the synthetic fibers feel like natural hair, while most other brushes available often use fur from squirrels, minks, or hair from horses.

Number One: The Brand Constantly Sets Trends In The Beauty World

One of their inventive ideas was to add the use of cocoa to some of their products thanks to the moisturizing and anti-aging properties of cocoa. Of which Blandino discovered while getting a chocolate facial. Who knew chocolate was delicious but also great for your skin?

Too Faced has built quite the cosmetics line since it was founded in 1998. Hope you enjoyed these lesser known facts about the cosmetics brand that is changing the makeup game.
