Dr. Dre: Top 6 Most Inspiring Interview Quotes

We all know of Dr. Dre, perhaps best known for his time spent making music with Eminem. It turns out there’s more than meets the eye (and ears) when it comes to this producer. Here are some of his most inspiring words of wisdom.

Number Six: Dr Dre. On His Art

“I’m never gonna stop music, it’s like air to me.” Dr. Dre is very dedicated to his art form. It isn’t just something he does for the hell of it, on the side. Comparing it to air proves how important it is to him.

Number Five: On Reincarnation

“I believe in reincarnation, and I believe I’ve lived quite a few lives.” Many people scoff at the idea of past lives. Dre seems pretty confidence about his, though.

Number Four: On Influencing the Genre of Hip Hop

“I’m gonna try and change the course of hip hop again.” Some people are content with making music and sitting back passively. Dr. Dre is not one of those people. He wants to change the entire course of the genre.

Number Three: On His Childhood

“I’ve looked at pictures that my mom has of me, from when I was four years old at the turntable. I’m there, reaching up to play the records. I feel like I was bred to do what I do. I’ve been into music, and listening to music and critiquing it, my whole life.” Some people are just meant to do certain things, and it’s clear what this producer’s calling is. He was born for music.

Number Two: On His Experiences with Music

“I always loved the way music made me feel. I did sports at school and all, but when I got home, it was just music.” Although he had more than one interest growing up, there was always a number one passion in his life. His passion was so strong that it enabled him to become one of the biggest names hip hop has ever seen.

Number One: On His Own Dedication and Persistence

“I am never going to give music up.” Some people do what they love for a bit and then retire, but this doesn’t sound like it’s in the cards for this celebrity. Thanks for reading our article, and we hope you enjoyed it.
