We already brought you part one of our list of 15 things you probably did not know about Dionne Warwick, and now we’re back with part two! Check out eight more fascinating facts about the singer and actress that you definitely (probably) did not know below. You might be surprised by what you find out!

Number Eight: She Was Part of the First National Psychic Hotline. In 1985, Warwick began working with Psychic Friends Network as a spokesperson. She appeared on several infomercials to promote the hotline.

Number Seven: She Supported AIDS Research From the Beginning. Warwick was such an avid and early supporter of AIDS research that she was officially named the United States Ambassador of Health in 1987.

Number Six: She Has Had More Chart Hits Than Any Female Singer – With One Exception. Warwick has had more chart hits than every single female singer except for Aretha Franklin.

Number Five: She Has Been in Several Movies. If you are interested in checking out Warwick’s acting chops, just try watching Slaves (1969), The Love Machine (1971), The Day The Music Died (1977), or Rent-A-Cop (1987). She can be seen in all four films, among many other cameos she has made in television shows.

Number Four: She Loves Tennis. Warwick once told a magazine that she loves to watch tennis, and she said “I watch any match I can – it doesn’t matter who is playing.”

Number Three: She Has Won Five Grammy Awards. Warwick has won an impressive five Grammy awards. She won her first Grammy in 1969, then she won another in 1971. She won two more in 1980, and she won her latest Grammy in 1987.

Number Two: She Had to Declare Bankruptcy. In 2013, Warwick declared Chapter 7 bankruptcy in New Jersey. The bankruptcy was apparently a result of mismanagement of her business affairs. She owed nearly $7 million to the IRS from the years of 1991 to 1999, and she owed $3 million in business taxes to the state of California.

Number One: She Has an Honorary Degree. Warwick was honored by Lincoln College, located in Illinois, when they gave her an honorary Doctor of Arts. She received the degree in 2010. Keep on doing you, Dionne Warwick!
