Number Eight: She Has Some Powerful Musical Influences. Lovato has admitted that two of her biggest musical influences are Christina Aguilera and Kelly Clarkson. Girl power!

Number Seven: She Has a Clever Sense of Humor. And she isn’t afraid to use it! In an interview, one reporter asked Lovato about her favorite dish, meaning food. However, she responded with the answer that her favorite dish was “…a mug, because they’re very comfortable in your hand.”

Number Six: She Is Friends With Hilary Duff. Not only has Lovato admitted that she is a fan of Hilary Duff’s, but the two are actually friends in real life, and they have even Tweeted at each other!

Number Five: She Auditioned for Hannah MontanaWhen Lovato was just 14 years old, she auditioned for the show Hannah Montana. Though she didn’t get the role, her audition was how she was discovered by Disney.

Number Four: She Dated Miley Cyrus’ Brother. Though the two share the Hannah Montana connection, Lovato also dated her older brother. However, they broke up in 2009. Of their relationship, Cyrus’ brother Trace said, “We gave it a shot and that’s all you can do.”

Number Three: She Believes in Aliens and Other Lifeforms. Lovato admitted that she believes in other lifeforms when she said the following: “I believe in aliens. I think it would be way too selfish of us as mankind to believe we are the only lifeforms in the universe.”

Number Two: She Wishes She Waited Longer Before Going on The X FactorLovato joined The X Factor very shortly after getting out of rehab, and she admitted in an interview that she wishes she would have waited before joining the show.

Number One: She Was Mini Miss Texas. From 2000 to 2001, Lovato held the esteemed title of “Mini Miss Texas.” Aw.
