We already brought you part one of our list of 15 things you probably did not know about Amy Schumer, and now we’re back with part two! Check out eight more fascinating facts about the comedian and star of Trainwreck that you definitely (probably) did not know below. You might be surprised by what you find out!

Number Eight: She Was Almost on GirlsSchumer auditioned for the role of Shoshana, which ended up being given to Zosia Mamet. Since her audition, she has said, “Picture me with those girls. I’m a hundred years old.” However, many people still think she would have done well on the show.

Number Seven: She Used to Be Amy Shoemaker. As a child, Schumer’s nickname was Amy Shoemaker. She said that, even though the nickname didn’t make much sense, it still made her mad – especially because her parents were at one time thinking about opening a shoe store.

Number Six: She Hates Los Angeles. Schumer has said that she feels like she doesn’t fit in in Los Angeles. On The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Schumer said, “I mean, I don’t fit in [in Los Angeles]. Just straight up body type. Like in L.A., my arms register as legs and it’s like, ‘Why is that octopus out on Sunset?'”

Number Five: She Credits Her Dark Childhood for Helping to Make Her Funny. Schumer experienced a lot of pain from a young age, and she says that the pain helped her escape through comedy. She says her dark sense of humor stems from her dark childhood.

Number Four: She Broke Up With Her Boyfriend Because of the Sex. In an interview with Howard Stern, Schumer says she broke up with ex-boyfriend and WWE star Dolph Ziggler because “the sex was too athletic.”

Number Three: She Does Not Want Plastic Surgery. Schumer says that she knows many female comedians who have had plastic surgery, but she refuses to be that person. She said, “I’m lucky because I grew up pretty delusional about how attractive I was. I was blessed with parents who filled my head with lies.”

Number Two: She Is a Dog Lover. And unlike many people today, she absolutely hates cats.

Number One: She Was Once a Pedicab Driver. In an interview in 2015, Schumer revealed that she used to be a pedicab driver. We wonder which lucky people she got to drive around!
