- The New Day Church in the Bronx is a relatively new organization gaining traction for its progressive approach, and the owner wanted to reflect that in their logo
- The logo design is based on growth, partly inspired by the United Methodist movement (their denomination) plus the three major goals of the church: connecting with God, crossing boundaries, and confronting social injustice
- The website utilizes PHP, CSS, light Javascript, plus Expression Engine as both a CMS and a blog for updating the site with new events and information
